William Colvin Rusbosin

William Colvin Rusbosin, 72, of Palm Springs, CA, formerly of Latrobe, PA, died surrounded by family on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Desert Springs Hospital, Palm Springs CA. William was born on August 13,1952 in Sewickley, PA and was raised in Latrobe. He is the son of the late Robert and Corinne (Rankin) Rusbosin. William graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School in 1970. He moved West to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his dreams. There he passionately served the less fortunate and supported and loved his A.A. family. He spent his career at Peterson Publishing Company. William’s last 10 years of life were spent in Palm Springs, CA. Like his mother he was an activist for others and like his father he always had an open hand for anyone in need and like them both he was extremely generous. William also had a great passion for music that he enjoyed and shared from a very young age and until his final moments. Let it Be! He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Corinne Rusbosin and his brother-in-law Richard Barker. William is survived by his siblings: Susan Rusbosin McCormick (Mark), John Rusbosin (Jeanne), Dr. Robert Rusbosin (Sharon), Ed Rusbosin (Theresa), Nancy Rusbosin (John Kelly), Linda Rusbosin James (Tom), Janet Rusbosin Barker Lexa (Bill), Carol Rusbosin Tricase (Steve Kulchin), Daniel Rusbosin (Tammy), Renee Rusbosin Stallings (Mike), numerous nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews, Manny Navarro and an abundance of friends in L.A., Palm Springs and beyond!
